Your reason choosing your study major at Untan?

     My name Zeri Putra Rananda. Usually called Zeri. I am 17 years old. Originally the school of SMAN 2 Pontianak. Gratitude alhamdullillah I've escaped PTN Tanjungpura University study program in electrical engineering.

     I escaped on track SM wrote. Actually I had already qualified in the SNMPTN report card in Kalimantan Institute of Technology electrical engineering courses in the first option. When asked why not study there? I replied, "because my parents do not allow college there." But yes please, I am still proud to be able to qualify at the University Tanjungpura PTN, with the determination and struggle on my own.

     I know, studied electrical engineering electric energy generation, processing, transformation, and distribution of electric or information in its various forms. Electrical engineering specialist include telecommunications engineering, electronic engineering, power engineering / electric energy, control systems, and biomedical engineering.

      I chose electrical engineering in UNTAN first reason, electrical engineering have jobs that are very broad, ranging from civil servants: in the field of energy and mineral resources, which is in the director general of the electricity ministry and mineral resources, state: PLN, Indonesia powor, pertamina geothermal, PT Telkom and others, the private sector: the field of telecommunications, namely Telkomsel, indosat, Kominfo, XL Axiata, Huawei, ZTE and others. Establishing computer such as software and hardware. And many more.

      Secondly, I live in Pontianak, so I do not need to rent a room. So I can save money, but I still get a decent education. UNTAN because I think it is one of the great universities and quality in Indonesia.

      Third, electrical engineering is the science is very challenging for me. So I am very motivated to master this science and would be very proud if successfully mastered.

      That is the reason why I chose electrical engineering at UNTAN as my course in this PTN. I hope that if someday pass, I can be useful to the family, religion, homeland, and nation ...
